Class description:

Join Ceri Griffiths for this delicate and dainty wedding cake styled on classic lines and using traditional piping skills in a new and contemporary way. This two day class focuses on accuracy and will help elevate your piping skills to the next level. This class is for those with previous piping skills. Student will take home 2 molds : Creative Cake System Barrels mold  and Creative Cake System Petite Fleur Oval Plaque

  • Four piped borders
  • Utilising moulded pieces
  • Painting with dusts
  • Pressure piped flowers and leaves
  • Piped bridges
  • Extension piping
  • Cake mapping
  • Creating and working with templates
  • Commercial finishes
  • Draped and stacked line work
  • The use of sugar embellishments

CLASS – HARRY POTTER BOOK CAKE

Turn your next sheet cake into a cool looking book, right out of a Harry Potter movie scene. Old leather bound and hand stitched. Make it looked used with aged pages, a page finder and antique feather pen. Books are a constant request. Wether they are antique stacked ones, or modern and colorful for graduation. This class will teach you the right steps, techniques and methods to create and costume design any book. Learned skills in this class will benefit you for many other projects that relate to this theme. Work with cake, frosting, fondant, modeling tools, but mostly with your hands. Finish it off with detailed Airbrushing and coloring.
